Someone in Rathdrum: You're rich!
RATHDRUM – The Idaho Lottery has confirmed that a
Mega Millions ticket worth $250,000 was sold for Tuesday night’s
draw in Rathdrum.
The winning
numbers for the $86 million draw were 11, 19, 40, 43, 44 and the
Megaball was 33. This winning ticket matched the first five “white
ball” numbers, but not the Megaball.
“We are
encouraging all of our players to check all of their draw tickets
very carefully right now,” said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery
director. “Too often, we see players who think they didn’t win
because they did not match the Megaball. In the case of the
$250,000 winning Mega Millions ticket, they matched every number
but the Megaball and now have a ticket worth a quarter of a million
dollars.”
This is the
second $250,000 winning Mega Millions ticket in Idaho, both of
which were sold in Kootenai County. The previous $250,000 winner
was sold in Coeur d’Alene for the April 17 draw. That winning
ticket has not yet been claimed.
Players have
180 days from the date of the draw to claim their winnings from
Idaho Lottery headquarters in Boise.
With no jackpot
winner last night, the Mega Millions jackpot for Saturday night is
an estimated $100 million.
