Jeff, was a devoted partner, son, grandson, brother and friend. Throughout his journey, his hope and character remained steadfast and strong.
He will be tremendously missed by all of his family and friends; his life partner, best friend and fiancee, April Aberle of the family home; his mother, Teresa Laird of Post Falls and his father, Tom Sandnes of Kittitas; his grandparents, Ernie and Hazelle Hendrickson, Jerry and Marge Sandnes, Chuck and Gloria Rosenberg, all of Ellensburg; his sisters, Cassie Sandnes and Misty Sandnes, both of Ellensburg; Trenton Williams, April's son, her parents, Jay and Brenda Aberle and her brother, Josh Aberle and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a niece.
Jeff was born April 12, 1977, in Ellensburg and attended schools in Ellensburg, Milwaukee, Oregon, Great Falls, Mont., and Roslyn/Cle Elum.
Jeff had a passion for his work. He wanted to drive a truck since he was just a little boy. He had worked for various employers, but his joy came when he started working with Ward Rugh & Company for the past four years. He was a very hard worker who said that he had never had a "bad" day at work. Jeff emanated strength and confidence in all that he did. He especially loved spending his free time with April and Trenton. His other interests were Jeeping in the hills, Ellensburg Blue hunting, fishing, metal detecting, traveling to new places and going to the casino. His charm, quick wit and great attitude were truly the cornerstone of his being.
Jeff, you will always be so loved and you will be tremendously missed by all who had the blessing to meet you.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Gary Morin of Great Falls in 2006.
