Betty Marie Barr, 83, passed away at home in Coeur d'Alene on Friday, Aug. 13, 2010.

Betty was born in Boise on Aug. 21, 1926, to Fred and Alta (Darnielle) Faull. She married Leon Barr on Aug. 18, 1946, in Boise. They had two children. In 1957 the moved to Coeur d'Alene from Stibnite.

She was a member of the P.E.O. She loved her flower garden, raised African Violets and was an avid bridge player.

Betty is survived by her husband, Leon at home; son Scott Barr of Denver, Colo., and daughter Robbie Wisdom of Townsville, Australia; two grandchildren, John and Heather Barr; a great-grandson, Grant Abbey and many nieces and nephews in Boise.

Betty is preceded in death by her father, mother and brother.

English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene, is in charge of the cremation. A burial will take place at a later date at the Pioneer Cemetery near Horseshoe Bend.
