Indians slip past Yakima

SPOKANE - Alejandro Selen's solo home run sparked a five-run fifth inning for Spokane and the Indians held on for a 6-5 win over the Yakima Bears in Northwest League play before 3,421 on Sunday night at Avista Stadium.

Andrew Clark's two-run single in the fifth preceded Jacob Skole's two-run double to right field for the Indians (7-5), who host Yakima (7-5) again this afternoon at 3:30.
