REPEAL 17: Smells a lot like Nazism

I don't know about a lot of you, but from what I have read about what the GOP is proposing about getting rid of the 17th Amendment, it sounds like something the Nazis would do in the 1930s.

Back then you had some political party that thought they knew what was best, irregardless of the rest of the people. That's what I see the GOP doing with wanting to repeal the 17th Amendment.

Shame on this group of people who say that I don't have a right to vote for my U.S. senator. It's bad enough that we still have the Electoral College. Democrats and Republicans alike need to wake up and see what this kind of thinking really means. It really is a few people who want to take the power of choice from the public and put it in their hands.
