MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - The Montana Highway Patrol is seeking information about a hit-and-run that severely injured a Washington woman near Saltese in northwestern Montana.

Trooper Richard Hader said a 45-year-old woman from the Spokane area was struck by a van on Interstate 90 at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The woman was identified Wednesday evening through fingerprints and with the help of Seattle police. She was not carrying any identification and was unresponsive at the scene. Hader says the woman, whose name has not been released, was in a dispute outside the van before she was run over.
