Lavada “Elayne” (Freeman) Maw passed away on Aug. 1 at Kootenai

been battling for years.

Elayne was born on a beautiful spring day, June 3, 1958, to her loving

parents Gene and June Freeman in Portland, Ore. She grew up with her

sisters Danya and Lori, and her brother Eldon. She was married to

Steven Maw of Warden, Wash., for 17 years.

Danya Heaton of Sandpoint and Lori Milks of Coeur d’Alene; her brother

of Coeur d’Alene, Michael Gene Freeman of Post Falls, and Jaushawa

Steven Freeman of Sandpoint,. She is also survived by her four

grandchildren, Angel Elayne Freeman, Brandon Ray Freeman, Mikayla

volunteering her time to help others in need and adored spending time

with her grandchildren. She loved angels and truly is an angel

herself. She was appreciated and will be missed greatly by all of us.
