Kids Draw Architecture session scheduled Aug. 14

Kids' Draw Architecture, a two-part sketch session of downtown Coeur d'Alene architecture, is schedule from 8:45 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 14.

Participating children will have the chance to work with local architects, artists and design professionals during a sketch session of downtown Coeur d'Alene landmark buildings.

The intention is to help kids develop an artistic eye for architecture under the guidance of experts, and they can begin to "see" the community in which they live and learn that, how a community shapes its space architecturally, reflects its values.
