GOLDMAN: Wrong guys scrutinized

| April 30, 2010 10:00 PM

During this time of political witch hunting in Washington it’s important to remember, Goldman Sachs didn’t break the law, they bought the law.

The crime against the people wasn’t committed  by Goldman, it was committed by the Congress of the United States of America.  They accepted the bribes from the likes of Goldman that resulted in giving investment banks the tools they needed to place bets on worthless, or non conforming investment instruments.

Dragging Leroy Blankfein, CEO of Goldman, in front of Congress amounts to a political sideshow that is another waste of the people’s time and money. Congress needs to be investigated, the system reformed and an end put to this nonsense. Investment banks legally paid your Congress $21 million in donations between 2007 and 2009 and they gladly accepted the bribes, so who committed the crime?
