COEUR d'ALENE - Kyeli Parker was 4 for 4 with three RBIs and a run scored for the Coeur d'Alene Vikings in a 10-3 nonleague win over the Lakeland Hawks on Wednesday at Larry Schwenke Field.

"The weather was just terrible today," Coeur d'Alene coach Larry Bieber said. "Everyone was cold, a lot of stinging hands. The weather didn't help us at all. I get so tired of playing inside, I was out at 10 a.m. to get the field ready and it was in good shape."

Jessica Scholwinski had nine strikeouts for Coeur d'Alene (17-3), which travels to Lewiston on Friday.

"It's a big couple of games for us," Bieber said of the Lewiston matchup. "We need to take care of business down there."

Jamie Klopatek had five strikeouts for Lakeland (10-8), which travels to Moscow on Saturday.
