COEUR d'ALENE - A Coeur d'Alene man was sentenced on Friday to serve 10 years in state prison for robbery, burglary and grand theft charges.

Bodi Charles Dotson, 29, was sentenced by First District Judge Fred Gibler, who ordered that the first two years of the sentence would be fixed, and the remaining eight years are indeterminate, with credit for time served.

Dotson admitted his participation in the armed robbery of the Dalton Market on Nov. 15, 2009. He was convicted of burglary for the same actions. Dotson was also convicted for grand theft of the vehicle he and his codefendant used to flee from the Dalton Market after the burglary.

Dotson has an extensive history of drug use and was high at the time he committed the robbery, according to a press release from the Kootenai County Prosecutor's Office.
