Edward Franklin Burg Jr., 61

Edward Burg, of Kellogg, passed away April 23, 2010, at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene. Ed was born Oct. 24, 1948, in Darlington, Wisc., the son of the late Edward Burg Sr. and Annie (Jean) Burg.

He grew up and attended school in Garden Grove, Calif. Ed was involved in scouts and Indian Guides. He received Order of the Arrow in Scouting. He was confirmed at the United Church of Christ in Garden Grove. He held many positions in the work field; at Autonetics and Hughes, repaired Bank Alarms, repairing TV’s and computers, working for Dell Computers. He enjoyed wrestling, baseball, computer programming and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Edward F. Burg III (Joy), Tom (Sandy) Burg, Kathy (Mike) Reser, Dan (Jennifer) Burg; mother Anne Burg; sisters Joanne (Paul) Harner, Jan (Bob) Young; brother Allen Burg; 15 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Ed was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Ruth Burg, Louis and Anna Jean; father Edward Franklin Burg Sr. and brother James Burg.
