Suns turn up the heat, rout Blazers to tie series

Jason Richardson scored 29 points, Grant Hill made 10 of 11 shots for 20, and the Phoenix Suns rediscovered their high-energy game in a 119-90 rout of the visiting Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night to square their first-round playoff series at one game apiece.

Game 3 is Thursday at Portland.

Celtics 106, Heat 77: With Kevin Garnett serving a one-game suspension for elbowing Quentin Richardson in Game 1, Glen Davis started and had 23 points and eight rebounds, leading host Boston to a victory over Miami and a 2-0 lead in their playoff series.

Game 3 is Friday at Miami.

Hawks 96, Bucks 86: Joe Johnson scored 27 points, Josh Smith recorded 21 points, 14 rebounds and nine assists, and Atlanta beat visiting Milwaukee for a 2-0 lead in their Eastern Conference playoff series.

Game 3 is Saturday at Milwaukee.

Lakers 95, Thunder 92: Kobe Bryant scored 39 points, helping host Los Angeles beat Oklahoma City to take a 2-0 lead in their Western Conference playoff series.

Oklahoma City hosts Game 3 on Thursday.
