Police say body found in burned car

TWIN FALLS (AP) - The Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a body was found inside a burned vehicle near the Salmon Dam.

The sheriff's office says the case has not been ruled a homicide. Authorities are looking for a person of interest, described as a man with a medium build, just under 6 feet tall, wearing a plaid shirt, blue jeans and a brown bandanna. The office says the man may be Hispanic or American Indian.

A county range deputy found the vehicle on Sunday. The body has not yet been identified.
