COEUR d'ALENE - The Idaho Lottery recorded its first $250,000 "Match 5" winner on its new big-draw game Mega Millions, and the winning ticket was sold in Coeur d'Alene.

The winning numbers for Friday night's Mega Millions $122 million draw were 10, 16, 31, 48, 50 and the Megaball was 44.

"We are encouraging all of our players to check all of their draw tickets very carefully right now," said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery director. "Too often, we see players think they didn't win because they did not match the Powerball or the Megaball. In the case of the $250,000 winning Mega Millions ticket, they matched every number but the Megaball and now have a ticket worth a quarter of a million dollars."

Like the two, $200,000 winning Powerball tickets from Wednesday night's draw, Friday night's Mega Millions winning ticket matched the first five "white ball" numbers, but not the Megaball.

In addition to the Mega Millions win on Friday night, Saturday night's $212.8 million Powerball draw produced a $50,000 winning ticket that was sold in the Buhl area.

Neither the Mega Millions jackpot nor the Powerball jackpot was won in their respective draws Friday or Saturday night. The jackpot for tonight's Mega Millions draw is an estimated $143 million. The estimated jackpot for Powerball on Wednesday night is $252 million, the 11th largest in the game's history.

"With close to $400 million in jackpot prizes this week, we are encouraging all of our players to please play responsibly," added Anderson. "Play what you can afford, don't go overboard."
