The public hearing was held at the Fernan Ranger Station, 2505 E. Sherman Avenue in Coeur d Alene Idaho. The Fernan Lake Village Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance more specifically establishes Article 1, purpose and authority of flood damage prevention; Article 2, providing for definitions; Article 3, general provisions, Article 4, providing applicability; Article 5, Provisions for Flood Hazard Reduction, requiring permits; providing for administration, permit processing and the authority of the administrator; providing subdivision, construction, manufactured home, recreational vehicle, and floodway standards; Article 6, providing variance and appeal processes and criteria; Article 7, providing penalties; Article 8, providing severability; Article 9, providing repeal of conflicting ordinances; and providing an effective date, which is May 3, 2010.
