Vehicle of missing man found in Utah

POCATELLO - Pocatello police say a vehicle belonging to a 60-year-old Idaho man who was reported missing last month has been found in a marina near Utah's Great Salt Lake.

Don Larkin of Pocatello was reported missing by a friend on March 22.

Utah authorities found Larkin's vehicle in Willard Bay State Park, a marina located 15 miles north of Ogden, Utah, the Idaho State Journal reported.

Medicaid patients to share rooms

POCATELLO - A retirement home in Blackfoot is making some changes after the Department of Health and Welfare announced plans to delay Medicaid payments due to a funding shortfall.

The Willows Retirement and Assisted Living Center has decided that Medicaid patients will not be allowed private rooms. Executive director Kaddy Fyfe says the center can use the smaller rooms to bring in more private pay patients.

Fyfe says it's a permanent change because the center is uncertain what will happen with Medicaid funding in the future, the Idaho State Journal reported.

The Willows has 53 clients, 40 percent of whom are on Medicaid.
