Faculty recital planned for April 18

The North Idaho College music department will present its Spring Faculty Music Recital at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 18 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, located at 919 Indiana Ave. in Coeur d'Alene.

NIC music instructors will perform a variety of pieces including "La Catedral" by Agustin Barrios, the Johannes Brahms piece "Rhapsodie, Op. 79 No. 2" and "Sin tu amor: Impossible Dream" from Man of LaMancha.

The recital will showcase the various talents of the NIC music department, including featured performers Andrea Dawson and Max Mendez with vocals, Toni Helms and Debra O'Dell on piano, Paul Grove on guitar, Gerard Mathes on violin, Jill Cathey on oboe and Austin Little on banjo. Other featured performers include NIC students and community members Cole Ballenger on clarinet, Jeff Worsfold on piano, Molly Wilbur on mandolin, Jenny Little on bass and Bonnie Campbell on guitar.

The recital is free and open to the public.
