GIRLS GOLF

HAYDEN LAKE — Moscow’s Taylor Anderson shot a 5-over par 77 to earn medalist honors during the Coeur d’Alene Lady Viking Invitational at Hayden Lake Country Club.

Lewiston won the team title with a score of 353, followed by Moscow (355) and Post Falls (375).

“The conditions were terrible,” Coeur d’Alene co-coach Keri Jaworski said. “It was so wet and it was a constant rain. I was so proud of all of them. For Taylor (Anderson) to shoot a 77 in those conditions was pretty impressive.”

Rachel Westby led Post Falls with an 88.

Coeur d’Alene finished fourth with a 416, led by Dani Olson with a 94.

“We had some of our best scores of the year,” Jaworski said. “I couldn’t be prouder of the girls.”

Kellogg freshman Kaceelyn Pouttu shot an 84 to lead the Wildcats to a fifth-place finish.
