Kids can design race T-shirt

The Kids for the Cure T-shirt contest is under way.

Local elementary schools are welcome to participate in the contest and at the end of the school year, the winner will be announced at their school.

The winning design will be featured on all the kids T-shirts at this year's Komen Coeur d'Alene Race for the Cure on Sept. 26.

The design should represent the child's idea of finding a cure for breast cancer.

Please include child's name, age, school, signature of parent or guardian, and home phone number on entry.

Entries can be mailed or delivered to Laurie McNutt, c/o Kootenai Outpatient Imaging, 700 Ironwood Drive, Suite 110, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Deadline for entries is May 10.
