ST. MARIES - Four Kootenai County teens were injured and two were ejected during a rollover accident near St. Maries on Sunday afternoon.

According to Idaho State Police, Madison M. Donovan, 18, Hayden, was driving a 1997 Toyota 4Runner westbound on St. Joe River Road at 12:15 p.m. when she drove off the right shoulder of the road while rounding a corner.

"The vehicle traveled 244 feet before colliding with large rocks," an ISP press release states. "The vehicle then tumbled through the air 40 more feet, ejecting (two passengers)."

Alcohol was a factor, according to ISP.

All four of the occupants were transported to Benewah Community Hospital in St. Maries, according to ISP.

Donovan was in serious condition at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane on Monday.

Two of the passengers, Brent R. Wickham, 18, Hayden, and Taylor J. Neumann, 17, Coeur d'Alene, were ejected from the vehicle and treated and released from the Benewah hospital.

None of the area hospitals had a record of the third passenger, Jesse C. Riendeau, 18, Coeur d'Alene. Riendeau was the only occupant who was wearing a seat belt, according to police.

No citations had been issued as of Monday. An investigation continues.
