Red Sox 8, Royals 3: Jason Varitek homered twice, leading Boston at Kansas City.

Blue Jays 3, Orioles 0: Jose Molina had two RBIs, leading Toronto at Baltimore.

Tigers 4, Indians 2: Magglio Ordonez had a two-run homer, leading host Detroit past Cleveland.
