OBAMACARE: Doc misses the point

To the doctor from Sandpoint who advocates Obama Care: I read in a Dr. Gott column an article titled “Concierge doctoring a trend,” describing a move (however small at this time) toward basically, doctors on retainer, in the future, due to the policies in this disastrous plan. Dr. Gott didn’t endorse the practice, just described it.

 What a sad state of affairs, and I don’t blame the doctors at all.  Doctors have spent a number of years and many sacrifices in their lives to earn their education and expertise. This plan is going to dictate to them in areas that most of them don’t want interference.

There’s a joke going around on the internet saying that the government hasn’t been able to efficiently manage a brothel, but wants to take on this program that represents 7 percent of the country’s economy. The government doesn’t belong in control of approximately 50 percent of our economy, counting the banking and auto industries.

There have been mistakes made in the past, but two wrongs don’t make a right and this health plan does not support the common good.
