WORLEY - A janitor from Spokane is now a millionaire.

Daniel Eaker won a $1,257,258 Megabucks VideoMegaJackpot on Sunday at the Coeur d'Alene Casino.

Eaker said he had planned to go to Las Vegas but decided to visit the casino in Worley with friends instead. After investing around $100 into the winning machine, he was surprised to find he had won the top progressive prize.

"I thought I'd won $1,200," he said.

Eaker has no immediate grand plans for his windfall, other than paying bills and buying "Cardinal season tickets."

Sunday's MegaJackpot is the first to be paid at the casino so far this year. It is also the largest single MegaJackpot paid to date at the Coeur d'Alene Casino, which is one of six tribal casinos in Idaho that belong to a Native American progressive network.
