Spaghetti feed to help Dole family

The spaghetti feed benefit for the Dole family is still scheduled for 1 p.m. April 10 at the Plummer Elementary School gym.

The fundraiser will include a spaghetti meal, silent auction and banjo music.

The Plummer family is facing financial difficulties after the youngest of nine children underwent complicated medical procedures for a rare heart defect.

The family's home also burned down last month.

Monetary donations can also be sent to: FBO Jethro Storms Dole, Sterling Savings Bank, PO Box 285, Plummer, ID 83851.

Auction items can be sent to 235 10th St., Plummer, ID 83851.

Pizza sales to help PFHS senior event

POST FALLS - A portion of the sales at the Post Falls Papa Murphy's on Wednesday and April 28 will be donated to Post Falls High's senior drug-free party on June 12.

The event will follow the graduation ceremony.

"Some of the students do not have the funds to afford a ticket to the party and we want to ensure our seniors have a safe place to celebrate throughout the night," said Rhonda Newton, an organizer of the event.
