BOISE (AP) - A former Boise police officer has pleaded not guilty to four counts of lewd conduct with infants and toddlers.
Stephen Young will face a jury trial starting June 28 in front of 4th District Judge Michael Wetherell. He's now jailed on a $250,000 bond.
His attorney said Thursday Young may file a motion to move the case out of Ada County because it's received strong publicity there.
Young was arrested last month after admitting to deputies he molested four young children under the age of 2.
Young confessed at the urging of another Boise officer who found out about the crimes, which may go back 30 years. Investigators said they found evidence Young may have victimized children he knew from working as a school resource officer for 10 years.
If convicted, he could face life in prison.
