Hatley advances at

Pacific Northwest amateur

Reid Hatley of Hayden Lake, seeded 36th in the 118th Pacific Northwest Menís Amateur, defeated Brody Marconi ó the 29th seed ó from Portland 3&2 at Tacoma Country and Golf Club in Lakewood, Wash.

Hatley, who won the PNGA Menís Mid-Amateur Player of the Year for four consecutive years from 2015 to 2018, will face Joe Highsmith of Lakewood today starting at 8:02 a.m. in the Round of 32. Golfers will play the Round of 16 later today, with quarterfinals and semifinals on Friday.

The championship match is scheduled for Saturday.
