Hughes, a junior, won the 285-pound bracket at the Owen Invitational on Saturday at Salish Kootenai College in Pablo, Mont. Hughes beat Wacey Zuback of Browning 4-2 in overtime in the championship match for the Timberwolves, who finished runner-up to Polson by a 202-201 margin. “Owen had a great tournament for us,” Lake City coach Corey Owen said. “He came out and wrestled aggressive, tough and did a great job for his first tournament win.”
