Joey Follini

Timberlake High

The junior quarterback passed for three touchdowns and ran for two more, including the winning TD run in overtime as the Tigers rallied to win at Moscow 42-36 last Friday. “Joey puts a ton of time into the game of football, going to several camps and lifting all summer,” Timberlake offensive coordinator Brian Kluss said. “He is a great athlete and a great leader as well as an outstanding student. He gives you 100 percent of his effort the whole time he is on the field and is willing to do whatever it takes to lead his team to a victory, whether it is with his legs, his arm, or just handing the ball to the other play-makers on the team. He enjoys his teammates’ success even more than his own and he earns everything he gets.”
