By now residents in Coeur d’Alene have noticed a new apartment complex just off Ramsey Road and Hanley Avenue near Lake City High School. The Northern at Coeur d’Alene Place is a new development aimed at offering modern living without the hassle of property management.

“It’s kind of a new take for the area with a ton of amenities and really high-end features,” said Hayden Anderl with Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Realty.

The first two stories of the complexes tout 9-foot ceilings, with some third floor units boasting vaulted ceilings reaching 18-feet in some spots. Homes feature designer touches, quartz countertops, stainless steel or matte gray appliances and more.

Apartments come in one, two or three-bedroom options, and the property is pet-friendly. Parking includes garage and carport options.

Anderl said The Northern will total about 294 apartments, as well as more than 10,000 square feet of potential commercial space.

Residents will enjoy resort-style living, including a luxurious outdoor pool area and a 4,000-square-foot clubhouse that includes a gourmet demonstration kitchen. There is also a heated outdoor patio and barbecue area for entertaining during any part of the year.

Other amenities include a putting green, fitness center, outdoor fire pit, conference room, dogwash station and even outdoor ping-pong.

The location can’t be much better for those wanting swift commute times in Coeur d’Alene and Hayden, and a quick drive north on Ramsey Road connects you to Prairie Avenue, which serves as a swift gateway into Post Falls and Rathdrum. The Maverick gas station is also just off the property, in case you’re in need of one of those Orange-Vanilla Cokes that are legitimately delicious (Coca-Cola didn’t advertise with us, but they can if they’d like!).

At the moment, units range from just over 750 square feet for a one-bedroom, one-bathroom space, up to a little more than 1,200 square feet for a three-bedroom, two-bath home. Prices online range from $1,055/month to $1,460/month.
