Gratitude and grit: 90-year-old recalls fleeing California wildfire
Today is Mary Galea's 90th birthday, and she is more grateful than usual to have lived another year. Galea was 87 and living in Paradise, California in 2018 when a vicious wildfire, deemed the deadliest and most destructive fire in California history nearly destroyed Paradise.
