Levi Snyder, 1st vice president of NIBCA presented a platinum $1,000 donation to Turkeys & More President Bill Griffiths and challenged other builder members to help buy some turkeys. Snyder of Monogram Homes said he felt providing turkeys for 1,800 vulnerable families or more than 7,000 people was a very worthwhile goal for Thanksgiving. Evalyn Adams, who served as the first executive officer of the builder's association for more than 40 years ago was happy to witness this donation and thanked two other builders who already sent in $500 checks to assist with this special holiday. They are Allen Dykes of Village Homes and Erik Campbell of Aspen Homes & Development. Adams said turkeys will be distributed soon and their nonprofit organization is eager to raise an additional $11,000 to cover the cost. Donations of any size for Turkeys & More can be mailed to P.O. Box 267, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83816. Customers at Super 1 Foods are also able to donate for turkeys when they check out.
