On March 9, members of the Post Falls High state wrestling team were greeted by Team Real Life Wrestling at the club practice in what has become an annual ritual — presenting the high school’s state trophy to the club kids. This year, the Trojans placed third at the state 5A tournament in Nampa. All of the state team members have wrestled with Team Real Life. The club kids were given words of encouragement by the high schoolers and a rousing speech by the high school head coach, Pete Reardon. The high school state wrestlers pictured are Zack Campbell; Tyson Barnhart, state champion; Connor McCarroll, 3rd; Roddy Romero, 2nd; Avery McSpadden; Ryan Graves, 5th; Alex Austin; Lane Reardon, state champion; Jonny Rudebaugh; Ethan Miller, 2nd; Mando Laguna, 5th; Trevor Miller, 5th; Keanyn DeGroat and Isaiah Laguna, 2nd. In front of them are the boys and girls of Team Real Life that are hoping to follow in their footsteps.
