In a commitment to give back to the community, the Kootenai/Shoshone Farm Bureau during its monthly meeting on Dec. 16 gave a total of $10,000 to local organizations. Those receiving $1,000 each were: Post Falls Food Bank, ABC (Athol) Food Bank, Spirit Lake Food Bank, Harrison Food Bank, Community Action Partnership-Coeur d'Alene, Rathdrum Food Bank, Shoshone Co. Food Bank, Children’s Village, Union Gospel Mission-Coeur d'Alene and 
Christmas For All. Kootenai/Shoshone Farm Bureau is an organization of agricultural producers and local citizens focused on providing a voice for Idaho agriculture and working for the betterment and higher awareness of food production.
