<p>Brad Ward, president of Empire Unmanned, holds an unmanned aircraft system outside of their headquarters in Hayden that his company uses to precisely map agricultural land. Empire Unmanned received exemptions from the Federal Aviation Administration in January that enabled the company to begin offering imaging services to farmers in March. They are continuing to work with the federal organization on regulations for UAS pilots so that, as the company grows, they can hire candidates with ideal backgrounds.</p>
