Robert Lawrence Brower, 73
Robert “Bob” Lawrence Brower was born on Oct. 27, 1945, to Jacob Lorenzo Brower and Elvira Walker Brower at the Newport, Wash., hospital, near their home in Priest River, Idaho. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side, in Humble, Texas, on June 27, 2019.
He will be remembered for being a devoted and loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He dedicated his life to serving his family and always sought out opportunities to serve others. He was well known for his great sense of humor, commitment to the community and his dedication to faith that guided him throughout his life. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and touched many lives through his various assignments. He had the opportunity to serve three missions for the church throughout his lifetime. He spent his professional career working for the YMCA for more than 41 years in several locations throughout the U.S. and remained devoted to his alma mater, Brigham Young University — go Cougars! He had a special talent for bringing out the best in others and making them feel special. He never met a stranger.
