Rhonda Joann Coleman-Shipowick
On Monday, April 8, 2019, Rhonda Joann Coleman-Shipowick passed away. She was born Dec. 8, 1962, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to Darlene and Arthur Coleman; she was the middle child, with an older brother, Larry Coleman and later, younger brother, Kevin Coleman. Rhonda was a sweet child, full of energy and a zest for life. She graduated high school in 1979, in Newberry Park, Calif.
Rhonda spent time between Idaho and California growing and into her adult life. She worked at Kimball Office in Post Falls, Idaho, for more than 20 years and developed lifelong friendships there. Rhonda enjoyed gardening and always kept a beautiful home and garden. Aerosmith was her favorite band, especially Steven Tyler. She had a passion for music and art.
Anyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting Rhonda knew how special she truly was. Her home was known as a “house of love.” She would drop everything to help a friend or family member in need. She put everyone else first and was one of the kindest, most loving and authentic person you could ever be lucky enough to meet. Rhonda loved her husband, children, grandchildren and everyone else in her life so strongly. She left this world much too soon and there will not be a day that she isn’t missed by many.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her father, Arthur Coleman.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Shipowick; son, Christopher Clapper and his wife, Beth; their children, Chloe, Eric and Caroline Clapper; son, Keith Clapper; brothers, Larry and Kevin Coleman; mother, Darlene White; aunts, Linda Dobberthien and Dottie Betts; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family, who will all miss her very much.
There will be a celebration of life in mid-July for Rhonda. For details please contact Beth at firstname.lastname@example.org.
