Fernan ranger office adds open hours

COEUR d’ALENE — The Coeur d’Alene River Ranger District on Friday said its Fernan Office will be open extra hours in the weeks following Thanksgiving. 

In addition to its regular hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, the office will open Saturday, Nov. 30, and Saturday, Dec. 7, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“This is the peak time for the sale of Christmas tree cutting permits,” said Ashley Nettles, deputy district ranger for the Coeur d’Alene River Ranger District.
