| March 30, 2024 1:00 AM

Glenn Harris Elliott was born May 20, 1941, in Turlock, Calif., to parents Glenn and Mae Elliott. He was raised on a ranch and loved the outdoors. He had an adventurous spirit from the beginning and loved hunting, fishing, horseback riding and exploring California from an early age.

He became a police officer and dedicated his 29-year career to serving with the Vallejo Police Department.

After retiring, Glenn moved to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood turning and socializing with his friends. He easily made friends wherever he went. He turned his hobby of wood turning into a business and became a staple at the Coeur d'Alene farmers market for many years.

Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn & Mae Elliott, his wife, Marsha, and his daughter, Sherri.

He is survived by his daughter, Yvonne Elliott (Anne), sister Pam Rice, aunt Micki Traube, aunt June Vandergriff and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Glenn will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
