Joshua Miller, 43

Joshua James Miller, 43, of Meridianville, passed away March 5, 2024.

Joshua was born to Debbie and Joel Miller on Nov. 28, 1980. Josh grew up in Post Falls, Idaho. He attended Post Falls High School and graduated in 1999. He enlisted in the Air Force after graduation and served in numerous states, Italy and Iraq. He was honorably discharged in October 2005. He met his wife, Rachel Miller, shortly after completing his military career. He has worked at Redstone Arsenal since arriving in Alabama, he currently supported the Missile Defense Agency as an IT specialist.

Josh loved his family more than anything else in this life. He and Rachel were to celebrate their 17th wedding anniversary this year. He had two children, Greyson Joel (9) and Ruth Ann (6). You could often spot him at the gym, rec center court or ball field always being his kids' biggest fan. They shared endless adventures and were always up for fun.

Josh is survived by his wife, Rachel, his children, Greyson and Ruth, mother Debbie Miller, father Joel Miller, biological mother Shelly Miller, biological father Doug Peery (Marlene Peery), brothers Joe Miller, Dylan Pritchett, Tyler Pritchett, Derek Easterly, Chase Peery, and sister Tristin Wall. He was loved by many additional grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Josh’s life will be celebrated Sunday, March 10, at 3:30 p.m. for viewing with funeral services to follow at 4 p.m.
