NIC BOARD MAJORITY: Politics before principles

| January 19, 2024 1:00 AM

The endless disregard for the rights and liberties of Idaho residents imposed by the authoritarian faction of the Idaho GOP needs constant monitoring and exposure.

The examples of this disregard are numerous, here is one most revealing of them.

Not the least surprising comes one example from the behavior of Todd Banducci, and the essential shared responsibility of his KCRCC “rated and vetted” sidekicks, Mike Waggoner, Greg McKenzie and their attorney friend, Art Macomber. It is broadly known through their juvenile temper tantrums and dishonesty, these individuals have squandered away millions of taxpayer dollars, and thus have had a negative impact on NIC student success through their incompetent, self-serving handling of NIC governance.

While this fiduciary abuse and disregard for student success is taking place, Banducci is on social media bragging about getting tax on cigars lowered with the aid of his radical, anti-community success legislator buddies.

Here’s what Banducci had to say: “After nine years of work we enacted (with a great effort from our friends in the legislature) a lower tax on cigars.”

Guess what? Banducci’s son owns a cigar bar/shop.

With the help of his friends, Todd has used his position as an elected official to implement his personal agenda into public policy; forget about the rest of us who foot the bill and suffer the consequences for his lack of interest in ethical and productive community service.

Come November, and every other election opportunity to do so, it’s time to seriously consider voting these KCRCC endorsed bums out. Along with other KCRCC candidates, these individuals have shown us political power without integrity and competency is extremely costly and dangerous.
