Sheriff to host technology town hall

Kootenai County Sheriff Bob Norris will host a town hall meeting Tuesday that examines what technology is used for public safety and policing in Kootenai County.

The event is set for 6 p.m. in the Kootenai County Administration Building, 451 N. Government Way. 

The town hall will “set the record straight on false and misleading information” related to red light cameras, facial recognition technology in Kootenai County and other topics, according to the sheriff’s office.
