LETTER RESPONSE: False information spreads

This letter was a good example of the deceptive publications that has replaced actual reporting since FOX and the GOP decided to become the megaphone for Trump’s dishonesty. Trump added $7 trillion to our deficit with his tax cuts, he did not build back our military because it wasn’t depleted in the first place. Since World War II its been the strongest and most well funded globally.

During the two years Trump had full support of Congress all he did for the border was to build a small portion of a wall that Mexico did not pay for, we did, while he put children in cages and separated families forever. We are and have been the world’s largest producer and exporter of oil-Trump had nothing to do with that. Where did the writer hear that Trump’s unemployment was low? When he left office it was at record highs. You can blame that on COVID but it was Trump’s stubborn dismissal of experts’ warnings and findings that caused our country to have the most deaths and the slowest recovery of any country.

And Trump negotiated with the Taliban in February of 2020 the withdrawal of our troops from Afghanistan — he set the date of the withdrawal to be immediately after the election so he could blame it on Biden if needed and that’s exactly what happened. The writer is a good example of someone believing deceptive reporting by conservative media and MAGA GOP who have both become distributors of false information in the service of Trump.
