In-person and virtual experiences for 2021 Parade of Homes
After the successful integration of virtual experiences last year, the 2021 Parade of Homes will offer another mix of in-person and online tours of the Inland Northwest’s most dynamic new home designs.
Presented by the North Idaho Building Contractors Association (NIBCA), Parade of Homes continues today and also runs Sept. 24-26. Tickets are $10, which earns patrons access to the lineup’s extensive virtual showcase on the NIBCA website, as well as admission to on-site tours throughout the event.
Many of the area’s most respected and accomplished builders will take part in this year’s Parade of Homes, including Rosenberger Construction, Aspen Homes, Creekside Construction, Viking Homes, Anthem Pacific, Timbered Ridge Homes, Atlas Building Group, Selkirk Construction, North Ridge Contracting, Hayden Homes and Architerra Homes. Two builders will also make their Parade of Homes debut: Village Homes and LH Homes.
Participating homes are judged by a panel of regional building industry experts with homes separated into three price tiers. Homes are judged on five categories: Best Exterior and Curb Appeal, Best Interior and Floor Plan, Best Kitchen, Best Master Suite and Bath, and Best Use of Innovation. Attendees can also vote for the coveted People’s Choice Award.
For people looking to build their own home, Parade of Homes presents the opportunity to learn about different builders and to get ideas about the latest design trends, color and style options.
The NIBCA Parade of Homes isn’t just a showcase for local residents. The event attracts attendees from all across the country, and the virtual experience provides the opportunity for out-of-state prospective buyers to see what’s being offered in North Idaho.
Hours: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24 and Saturday, Sept. 25, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26. Tickets can be purchased online at NIBCA.org, the NIBCA office at 1928 N. Fourth St. Suite A, and at various businesses in the region, including local Super 1 Foods locations.

The Press published a guide to the show last week, which can also be viewed on cdaress.com and the NIBCA website.
