Hayden building to house three businesses

A new building for Landlocked Marine, Hayden Equipment and Work2Play Rentals will open soon at 11258 N. Warren St. in Hayden.

The Landlocked Marine portion will open Feb. 3 as a dealership for Four Winns, Sanger, Crest Pontoons, Boulton and Alumacraft. They’ll also be at the Spokane Boat Show Feb. 5-9.

Also opening Feb. 3, Hayden Equipment has Sany excavators, Massey Ferguson tractors, Avant front-end loaders and Boxer mini-skid steer dealerships, and Work2Play Rentals will rent all in the store plus RVs, ATVs, UTVs and extra fun and work things.

The grand opening will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 29, with a barbecue 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Key people are Geoff Smith, owner, Blane Bageant, general sales manager, and Denise Bangle, controller. Upcoming websites are haydenequipment.com, landlockedmarine.com and work2playrentals.com.

Advancement for women stressed at The Hive

Co-working, workshop and event space, networking and community building, and personal-professional development for the advancement of women is offered at The Hive, opening at 405 E. Indiana near downtown Coeur d’Alene.

The opening includes special member packages, gift certificates, workshop and coworking punchcards and a limited-edition gift for purchase for professional women, students and business leaders.

The Hive is sponsoring an evening of dialog featuring remarkable women chasing ambition at 7 p.m. Friday at the Art Spirit Gallery downtown. Owners are Melinda and Delia Cadwallader. Check www.thehivecda.com.

Grand opening Wednesday at Sandra’s Morning Brew

Coffees and energy drinks and fresh bean and cheese burritos will be at the grand opening at Sandra’s Morning Brew, Wednesday at 3023 Government Way.

Owners Sandra and Abraham Hernandez have the drive-through coffee stand open 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. Other food items also are available. Phone 509-768-9670.

- The Kansas City Chiefs making the Super Bowl is interesting for me as my only Rosdahl cousin, Harrison (Hatch) Rosdahl, was a lineman for the Chiefs when they lost to Green Bay in Super Bowl I in 1967.
