Well said! We thought traffic was light just eight years ago, coming from the congestion between San Francisco and Sacramento, but now we feel like you, that the quality of life here is rapidly deteriorating due to the greedy decisions of the city planners. Thanks for a great article, but I fear the leaders won’t care what we think.

Even Rathdrum, where we live, has a terrible traffic backup every day and worse when there’s a problem on 41 and everyone has to bail out across the prairie. It’s so sad to lose our ability to travel in a tranquil beautiful setting without breathing fumes and watching for crazies on the roads. I do enjoy your articles!
