Donald Lee Wright Jr., 54

On Feb. 17, 2019, at the age of 54, Donald Lee Wright Jr. went home to be with the Lord. He was born to Janet Dowed and Donald Wright, in Ridgecrest, Calif.

At the age of 17, Don joined the Navy, where he served our country proudly. As a young man, he enjoyed playing softball tournaments in California. He was passionate about coaching and mentoring youth in football and wrestling in California and Florence, Ore.

Don loved his family and friends very deeply and was always willing to give a helping hand. He was an amazing husband and father to his sons. He enjoyed riding his Harley with his MC brothers — doing benefit runs and mentoring people about the Lord along the way.

Don was a quality control manager at Northcon Inc., in Hayden, Idaho, for many years. He was truly a great man who blessed many lives.

Don is survived by his wife Shandell Wright and children Ranger, Gavin, Ethan, Sadie, Joshua and Kyle; parents Jon and Janet deRyk; five grandchildren and lots of family and friends. He was proceeded in death by his father, Donald Wright Sr.; sister, Brandy and his grandparents. The void Don leaves behind is unmeasurable, but he will live in our hearts forever.

A celebration of Don’s life is scheduled for the spring.
