CHART: Bias and blindness

| February 27, 2019 12:00 AM

I read with interest your front-page feature article on Sunday, Feb. 17 proposing to instruct your readers which media sources were “safe and accurate” (Green Box) and those with bias (Red Box).

Included in the “safe and accurate” box were Buzzfeed (printers of the widely discredited Trump dossier), ABC News (which was first to promote the Jussie Smollett hoax where he hired two black friends posing as racist Trump supporters), Politico, New York Times, AP, Bloomberg all of which smeared Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh (because he may protect unborn babies) and are some of the most socialist-adoring sources of journalism in the country (simply observe their reporting on the New Green Deal). Safe for whom? (Certainly not for those of us who want to avoid the Venezuelan socialist demise where they kill the opposition as all socialist governments do.) Accurate? Are these grievous misrepresentations accurate?

You warned us “You don’t want to be anywhere near the bottom…right?” where “These extreme sources play into people’s worst instincts…” Included in that dastardly group is WND.com (World Net Daily) which, for 20 years, has reported the news from a Christian perspective. Really? Christian perspective is now part of our worst instincts?

As you remember Mike, I used to be a Democrat. Observing the disintegration daily of the Democratic Party only assures me I made the right decision by leaving. Your bias blinds you.
