CHART: Useful to critical thinkers

I would like to offer my gratitude to Mike Patrick of The Press for publishing the Vanessa Otero media bias chart on the front page of Sunday’s paper.

I am constantly looking up media bias sites and comparing them in the attempt to determine slants that may be present in articles I read from various sources covering controversial news. Memory not being my strong point, I usually have to recheck my bias assessment sources every time I question a story.

The chart is closely in line with my regular sources; so I believe it’s as good as it gets in the realm, and boy, does it save time.

I fear that tribal extremism is an incurable state; so those souls will reject the chart along with all else that conflicts with their preconceptions. Nevertheless, I heartily recommend it as a useful tool for all our open minded critical thinkers.
