Soumas, a 5-foot-2 sophomore guard, hit a single-game state 3A tournament record seven 3-pointers in a 54-44 semifinal loss to Parma, then broke the 3A tournament record with 13 3-pointers in the Tigers 55-37 win in the third-place game on Saturday at Skyview High in Nampa. “She had a great weekend,” Timberlake coach Matt Miller said. “She stayed aggressive the entire time and took open shots, and she knocked a lot of them down.”
